Title
The Persistence of Flowers
Artist
Julene Franki
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Cradled Birch Panel
Description
Mission Flowers has taken about a year and a half to complete. It is in my new style of extreme crazy impasto acylic. This one is on a tiny, 4 x 4 inch birch cradled panel, but it is meant to convey limitless nature and flowers that never die!
This was painted on sight San Antonio Botanical Garden in 2020 until they kicked me out due to covid in March 2020. I then incorporated flowers from Alamo Heights Community Garden the rest of the spring 2020. I began finishing it this spring at the studio. Shown first at 2021
Hausmann Millworks - A Creative Community and Southtown Credit Human Missions Exhibit
